The revitalization of the JW Marriott Gift Shop at Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona, presented a thrilling opportunity to transform the existing gift shop into a fresh space catering to a high-scale clientele and creating a welcoming environment for both travelers and local guests. The gift shop, a focal point for guests, underwent a revitalizing refresh to elevate the overall guest experience. This involved a strategic redesign of the layout, incorporating modern fixtures and displays that showcase a curated selection of locally inspired and upscale merchandise. To pay homage to the Southwestern, the 3,327 square foot interior space showcases curated displays featuring local artists and their masterpieces. From traditional Native American pottery to contemporary desert apparel and accessories, these products will serve as a visual journey through the region’s artistic evolution.
