Homestead Resort Midway

FFKR’s Landscape Studio with Lloyd Architects re-envisioned Heber Utah’s historic 135-year-old Homestead Resort centered around the Midway Crater, a geothermal spring hidden within a 55-foot-tall, beehive-shaped limestone rock.

The goal was to return the resort to its prior elegance, appeal, and status as the go-to resort for families, individuals, and corporate groups. The scope included a complete renovation of existing cottage units and existing historic buildings, as well as new additions, including a main hotel lobby, spa, golf clubhouse, restaurants, wedding event barn, convention facilities, additional guest rooms, activity center, and fully re-envisioned outdoor pool facilities and outdoor amenity and gardens throughout the property.
