Rick Frerichs serves as the Healthcare Studio director and Senior Principal Architect. It is important to him that a project solution is conceived holistically so that the form of a building or space clearly reflects the resolution of the site and program. He enjoys working with FFKR’s talented staff on projects for clients who are making significant contributions to society in health, science, and education. Notable projects include University Healthcare Campus Transformation, BioFire Alain Merieux Center for Molecular Diagnostics, Intermountain Healthcare TOSH Campus Master Plan, University Healthcare Midvalley Health Center, and Utah State Hospital Mountain Springs Pediatric Center. Rick is a certified healthcare architect with the American College of Healthcare Architects.
