FFKR Architects Commercial Studio worked with Utah First Credit Union to design a 3,300 SF branch building that can be built throughout Utah on just a one-acre parcel. The new design opens up the employee office area to make it more visible from the street or sidewalk. The team explored variations with materials and planes to add more shade and shadow to the exterior facades.

The building materials are a dark gray aluminum composite panel system, with a large glass curtain wall on the main elevations. The main body of the building is a matte white porcelain tile rainscreen system. The prominent orange building signage elements are backlit 3Form resin panels that make this building stand out both day and night.
